Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Mexico - Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the Maps and Navigation category on the Android platform in Mexico saw varying performance trends among the top apps. Using data from Sensor Tower, we provide insights into the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these leading applications.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained a strong presence, with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 156K in early February. This app consistently had over 130K downloads weekly, while active users increased significantly, reaching over 12.3M by the end of March.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady download trend, starting at around 120K downloads at the beginning of January and slightly fluctuating throughout the quarter. Active users showed a positive trajectory, ending the quarter at approximately 5.4M.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares saw weekly downloads fluctuate between 66K and 87K. Active users peaked at 2.4M in early March, closing the quarter with a modest decline.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location observed a gradual increase in downloads, reaching up to 84K by late March. Active users consistently hovered around 1.7M, demonstrating stable engagement.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a consistent download rate, peaking at about 54K in mid-February. Active user numbers showed an upward trend, ending the quarter with approximately 3.2M users.
